SSC CHSL 2026: How to prepare sign

1. Sign clearly on white paper. Take a scan or direct photo, then crop only the sign part.
2. As per Notice §9.6 of SSC CHSL 2026, JPEG/JPG signature should be 10–20 KB and approximately 6.0×2.0 cm. Without DPI it would not be correct to convert cm into a pixel number.
3. Photo / Sign KB Choose the SSC sign preset, insert your photo, create and check the clear letters by watching the preview.

This notice contains a live capture of the photo. Re-uploading of old photos is prohibited. This tool is not a substitute for live capture.

UPSC Application: Photo and Sign

1. As per UPSC upload instructions, the photo should be JPG, 20–200 KB, clear and new; The face should cover approximately 75% of the photo, with a plain white background.
2. Sign JPG should be in the range of 20–100 KB; UPSC also gives instructions to keep three signs in one photo and live photo capture. Don't just rely on presets without reading the documentation.
3. Once the JPG is ready, check the clarity of faces, edges and signatures in the upload preview of your application.

RRB ALP CEN 01/2025 FAQ, Question 48 states photo JPG/JPEG 100–150 KB and 35×45 mm ratio; The sign is 30–49 KB. The limit may change in the second recruitment or new year. Fill only the size shown on the upload page of the form.
