Age Calculator
Find your exact age in years, months and days from your date of birth. Useful for filling forms.
How is age determined?
The entire year between the date of birth and the second date, then the remaining months and finally the remaining days are counted. Government forms often ask for age as of a specific date (e.g. January 1), so the second date above can be changed.
How to use Age Calculator?
The function of Age Calculator is to calculate age from date of birth to selected cutoff date. This facility is provided in a separate page on PDF Saathi Hub so that you can read the correct input, output and required limits. The method written below is according to the actual tool's behavior, there is no guarantee of perfect conversion or approval.
right start
Read the result in years, months and days. It is important that both the date of birth and cutoff date are correct. Leap year and month have different lengths; In this tool the whole calendar months are counted. Run the calculation again when the date changes. If only completed years are asked in your application, do not add months or days in that field. Next birthday and total days are additional information, not an official eligibility decision.
Result checking
For government applications, take the cutoff date given in the recruitment notice, do not automatically calculate today's date. Category relaxation, domicile or service-related age concession is not calculated here. If the rules of printed notice and application portal are different then see the official clarification. Write the result in a screenshot or note and keep the original dates with you, so that later you can know till which day the age was calculated.
Privacy and safe use
This tool calculates dates in the browser. Date fields are not sent to any age-calculation server. Still, think before putting your date of birth in a public screenshot or AI chat. Read the date and year of the result correctly; If you choose the wrong month, the answer will not be of use to you even if the calculation is correct.
